About Dr. Rachel Talis

Dr. Rachel Talis is the founder of Advanced Dental Center (ADC) and has been practicing dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky for over 25 years. After earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1996, she founded Advanced Dental Center in 2001 and has since grown it into Louisville’s all-in-one dental home — a multi-location practice where families across the Louisville metro can receive comprehensive care without being referred out for routine specialty work.

Dr. Talis’s clinical specialties are restorative implant dentistry, cosmetic transformations, and facial esthetics. She has completed a mini-residency in Implant Prosthodontics and holds advanced training in Dental Implant Placement and Restoration, allowing her to plan, place, and restore implant cases personally rather than splitting the work across multiple providers. She is also certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE), the leading credentialing body for dentists practicing therapeutic and cosmetic Botox and dermal filler injections.

That clinical depth matters in a practical way for patients. A single dentist who can take a smile from the initial cosmetic consultation through implant placement, crown restoration, and complementary Botox treatment provides continuity of care that’s difficult to match in larger group practices. The same hands that plan the case are the hands that finish it.

Beyond clinical work, Dr. Talis built ADC around a single founding principle: every patient is family. From the front desk welcome through the post-treatment follow-up, the experience should feel personal, transparent, and never rushed. That’s the standard she set when she opened the first ADC location, and it’s the standard every dentist on the ADC team practices to today.

Today, Dr. Talis and her team serve Louisville families from four open locations — Preston Highway, St. Matthews, Middletown, and Brooks Hill — with a fifth location opening in Jeffersontown on September 1, 2026. She sees her own patients primarily at the St. Matthews office on Rudy Lane, and consults across all ADC locations for cosmetic and implant cases by appointment.

Services Dr. Talis performs personally

Dental Implant Restorations

Dr. Talis has personally placed and restored over 500 dental implants in her Louisville practice — planning, placing, and restoring each case end-to-end. Her mini-residency in Implant Prosthodontics and advanced training in implant placement mean you don’t need to be referred out for the surgical phase and then back in for the crown. Implant pricing and financing starts at $120/month.

Cosmetic Smile Makeovers

Over 2,000 smile makeovers delivered in Dr. Talis’s Louisville practice. Veneers, dental bonding, professional teeth whitening, and full smile transformations. She treats cosmetic dentistry as a comprehensive process — not a single procedure — combining shade, shape, alignment, and facial esthetics into a unified plan. Free initial cosmetic consultation.

Metal-Free Cosmetic Crowns

All-ceramic and zirconia crowns matched to your natural tooth shade. No dark gum lines, no metal showing through translucent porcelain. Long-lasting, biocompatible, and esthetically natural.

Botox & Facial Fillers

Dr. Talis is the only dentist at ADC who personally performs Botox and dermal filler injections, both for therapeutic indications (TMJ, bruxism, gummy smile correction) and cosmetic (lines, lip enhancement, facial balancing). Certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
