DENTURES & PARTIAL DENTURES IN LOUISVILLE

Natural Looking Dentures in Louisville

At Advanced Dental we offer natural-looking dentures that are a far cry from the uncomfortable, unattractive dentures that have been around for ages. Our complete and partial dentures are comfortable and easy to wear, and our partial dentures don’t have the unsightly metal clasps of the past.

Dentures are used as a replacement for multiple missing teeth. The dentures we offer to our clients can be removed and put back into your mouth whenever it is necessary. During your first initial appointment at Advanced Dental Center, our expert staff will determine if you need full or partial dentures. A full set of dentures is required if the teeth in your oral cavity need to be removed or have already been removed. We will then replace either the top or bottom of your oral cavity with a full set of pearly white teeth. Questions about dentures and partial dentures? We’ve got answers!

Partial and Full Set Dentures In Louisville, Kentucky

If you are given the option of partial dentures by one of the Advanced Dental experts, this means  not all of your teeth need to be removed and some are able to be kept in your oral cavity. This is similar to a bridge, but as you are aware, dentures are not a permanent dental appliance like bridges. It is important to note that both partial and full set of dentures are a long process. Once your teeth are removed, your gums and oral cavity will need to heal before the denture process begins.

Once you receive your dentures, they will take some time to get used too. The dentures itself will feel bulky / heavy in your mouth at first. At Advanced Dental we want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible in your new set of teeth, so please share if you are having extreme discomfort during this time. Over time, your mouth will become trained and aware on how to eat, speak, and drink while having your dentures in. The dentures will eventually feel natural and normal.
At Advanced Dental Center, our ultimate goal is, we want our patients to take care of their teeth. Dentures are considered teeth just like your normal ones. They should be treated with the same care as the others. You should brush your dentures like normal to removed any plaque or food particles that may be left on them. After you have brushed your dentures, they will need to be placed in room temperature water (not super hot water) or a denture solution cleaner.

If problems arise where they do not fit correctly or something doesn’t feel right, please call Advanced Dental Center. You should not preform any time of adjustment on them without speaking to one of our specialist first. Always seek assistance from our team before doing so!
