Advanced Dental Center (ADC) is a locally owned, family-run dental group serving the Louisville, Kentucky area since 2001. We provide comprehensive care under one roof — general, cosmetic, restorative, and emergency dentistry, plus custom dental appliances and Botox — across our neighborhood locations, with same-day scheduling and evening and Saturday hours.

How many locations does Advanced Dental Center have?

ADC has five locations (four open today; Jeffersontown opens September 1, 2026): Preston Highway (8517 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40219), St. Matthews (1901 Rudy Lane Suite 4, Louisville, KY 40207), Brooks Hill (1064 Brooks Hill Rd., Brooks, KY 40109), Middletown (107 N. Watterson Trail Suite 101, Middletown, KY 40243), and Jeffersontown (10519 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, KY 40299).

Who founded Advanced Dental Center?

Dr. Rachel Talis founded Advanced Dental Center. She graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1996 and has over 30 years of experience in general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. She is also trained in implant restorations and Botox/facial fillers.

Appointments & Scheduling

Can I get a same-day appointment?

Yes. ADC offers same-day scheduling at all our locations. Whether you have a dental emergency or simply need to be seen quickly, call your nearest office and we will do our best to get you in the same day.

Does ADC offer evening and weekend hours?

Yes. Preston Highway and St. Matthews offer evening hours until 7 PM on select weeknights and are open Saturdays from 8:50 AM to 1 PM. Middletown offers Tuesday evening hours until 7 PM. This makes scheduling easier for busy families.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule by calling any of our office locations directly, or by visiting kyadc.com and using our online scheduling tool. Walk-ins are also welcome, though calling ahead helps ensure availability.

How do I become a new patient at ADC?

Just call your preferred location or book online at kyadc.com. We welcome patients of all ages, and our team will help with insurance verification and any new-patient paperwork before your first visit.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Please bring a valid photo ID, your dental insurance card (if applicable), a list of any medications you are currently taking, and any relevant dental records or X-rays from your previous dentist. Arriving 10–15 minutes early helps us get your paperwork squared away.

Does ADC accept my dental insurance?

ADC accepts most major dental insurance plans. We recommend calling your nearest location to verify that we are in-network with your specific plan. Our front desk team is happy to help with insurance questions.

What if I don’t have dental insurance?

No problem. ADC offers an in-house membership plan for uninsured patients that provides discounted rates on preventive and restorative services. We also offer flexible financing so cost is never a barrier to the care you need.

What payment methods does ADC accept?

We accept cash, all major credit cards, dental insurance, and flexible financing plans. We want to make quality dental care accessible and affordable for everyone.

Does ADC offer financing for larger procedures?

Yes. ADC offers flexible financing plans to help spread the cost of larger procedures like dental implants, crowns, and cosmetic work. Ask our front desk about available options during your visit.

Who are the dentists at ADC?

Where did the ADC dentists train?

Most of our dentists are graduates of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Roxanna Robinson Lujan earned her DDS at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and completed her residency at the University of Louisville. Every ADC dentist participates in ongoing continuing education to stay current with the latest techniques, materials, and technology.

How much experience does the ADC team have?

The ADC team collectively has well over 100 years of dental experience. Dr. Rachel Talis has 30+ years, and Dr. Gene Ramey has 30+ years. Several team members focus on alleviating dental anxiety, cosmetic dentistry, and complex restorative work.

Does ADC have dentists who specialize in dental anxiety?

Yes. Dr. Theresa Hayward and Dr. Gretchen Kratz both focus on helping patients who experience dental anxiety, creating a comfortable, pressure-free environment so patients can receive the care they need without fear.

Can I transfer my dental records to ADC?

ADC provides comprehensive dental care including general dentistry (cleanings, exams, fillings, root canals, extractions), cosmetic dentistry (whitening, veneers, bonding), restorative care (dental implants, dentures, bridges, crowns), emergency dental care, custom dental appliances (sleep apnea, TMJ, nightguards), and Botox and facial fillers.

Does ADC offer dental implants?

Yes. ADC provides full dental implant services including implant placement, abutment, and crown restoration. Dental implants are a permanent, natural-looking option for replacing missing teeth, and financing is available to make them affordable.

Does ADC do teeth whitening?

Yes. ADC offers professional teeth whitening as part of our cosmetic dentistry services — faster, more dramatic results than over-the-counter products. We also offer cosmetic consultations to talk through your options.

Can I get veneers at ADC?

Does ADC offer emergency dental care?

Yes. ADC provides same-day emergency dental appointments for issues like severe toothaches, broken or knocked-out teeth, dental infections, and lost fillings or crowns. Call your nearest location immediately and we will get you in as quickly as possible.

Does ADC provide dentures?

Yes. ADC offers full dentures, partial dentures, implant-supported dentures, and dental bridges. Our team will help you find the right tooth-replacement option based on your needs, comfort, and budget.

Can ADC help with sleep apnea or TMJ?

Yes. ADC creates custom dental appliances for sleep apnea, TMJ disorders, and nightguards. These custom-fitted devices can reduce symptoms and improve your quality of life without surgery.

Does ADC offer Botox and facial fillers?

Yes. Dr. Rachel Talis provides Botox and facial filler treatments at ADC for both therapeutic purposes (such as TMJ pain and bruxism relief) and cosmetic purposes. This is available at select ADC locations.

Is the cosmetic consultation free?

Yes. ADC offers cosmetic consultations so you can discuss your smile goals and explore options like whitening, veneers, and bonding.

Does ADC treat children?
