About Dr. Gretchen Kratz

Dr. Gretchen Kratz has been practicing dentistry in Kentucky for over 20 years. A 2000 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, she’s known for one specific clinical skill that’s harder to teach than it sounds: making patients with dental anxiety feel safe in the chair.

If you’ve put off a cleaning, exam, or restoration because of past bad experiences — or because you’ve always been afraid of dental work — Dr. Kratz is who you call. She moves at the patient’s pace, narrates every step, and never proceeds without explicit consent at each phase. Many of her patients started seeing her precisely because they were tired of feeling rushed or dismissed elsewhere.

Dr. Kratz sees patients of all ages from our Brooks Hill office on Brooks Hill Road in Bullitt County. She provides the full range of general dentistry — cleanings, exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, extractions, and preventive care — for families across Shepherdsville, Mount Washington, Hillview, Pioneer Village, and south Jefferson County.
